Three new routes are being added by Ryanair from Southend airport for next summer.
Bergerac, Girona and Marseille will be introduced, while flights will continue to operate in summer to Bucharest, Venice Treviso and Vilnius.
The expansion will bring the no-frills carrier’s network from the Essex airport up to 16 routes and is expected to deliver an extra 850,000 passengers a year through the airport and support 635 jobs.
Bergerac will be served three tikes a week with Girona and Marseille both twice a week.
Five flights a week will run to Bucharest, four a week to Venice Treviso and three a week to Vilnius.
