The former boss of airport and railway station food retailer SSP is joining Secret Escapes.
Kate Swann, a previous chief executive of WH Smith, is to become chairman of the luxury holiday discount company, Sky News reported.
Swann, who left SSP in May, recently became chair of onine greeting card firm Moonpig and chairs veterinary chain Vetcare.
Secret Escapes recently acquired up part of the collapsed holiday group Laterooms and the travel rewards site Pigsback.com.
It has raised significant sums in new funding, including from the asset manager Merian Global Investors.
Secret Escapes has more than 50 million members worldwide and runs flash sales of four and five-star hotels and holidays. Its members qualify for exclusive deals of up to 60% off.
