Hoseasons parent company Awaze UK has appointed Ross Matthews as chief marketing officer.
Matthews is to join in January 2020 from Icelolly.com where is currently chief marketing officer and responsible for marketing, media and marketplace teams.
He has previously worked at MyTravel, Thomas Cook and Virgin Holidays in a variety of digital, e-commerce and marketing roles over 18 years in the industry.

At managed vacation rentals and holiday resorts business Awaze, which also owns cottages.com, Matthews will be responsible for marketing and partnerships.
“We are very pleased to have appointed Ross to the Awaze UK team,” said chief executive Geoff Cowley. “He brings a wealth of travel experience with him, having worked with some of the UK’s leading holiday brands, and will be responsible for marketing and partnerships right across the business.”
Matthews said: “The opportunity to work with market leading brands such as Hoseasons and cottages.com, in addition to joining the highly experienced management team, were key factors in my decision to move.”
Icelolly.com said it is “close” to appointing a new chief marketing officer.
