Tui has announced an extra 74,000 airline seats for winter 2020 out of Doncaster Sheffield airport, including twice weekly flights to Sharm el-Sheikh.
New routes from the airport for next winter are to Cape Verde, Fuerteventura, Hurghada and Cancun. There are also additional flight days for Lanzarote, on a Monday, and Tenerife, on a Thursday, during winter 2020.
Meanwhile, Newcastle airport gains 38,000 extra seats for winter 2020 with the re-introduction of holidays to Sharm el-Sheikh.
New routes to Tunisia and Hurghada are also being launched from the north-east airport together with ten and 11-night holidays to Lanzarote.
Sharm will be served on Saturdays, Tunisia on Mondays and Hurghada on Fridays. An additional Lanzarote flight will run on Sundays.
New flights to Sharm from Edinburgh were announced earlier on Tuesday as part of the re-introduction of holidays to the Red Sea resort.
Weekly Sunday flights to Sharm have already been announced out of Doncaster Sheffield from May 3 following the lifting of Foreign Office advice, but these will increase to twice a week from November 1, with Thursday flights added.

In Sharm, accommodation includes the 5T Tui Magic Life Sharm el-Sheikh, an all-inclusive resort which includes a spa, fitness gym, sports activities, professional live entertainment, three swimming pools and four restaurants. Meanwhile, the 5T Reef Oasis Blue Bay includes a private beach, waterpark and outdoor infinity pool near Naama Bay.
In Cape Verde, accommodation includes the new 5T Riu Palace Santa Maria on the island of Sal in Cape Verde, part of Tui’s Platinum Collection.
Tui UK & Ireland director of aviation planning Karen Switzer said the extra flights aimed to give holidaymakers near regional airports more choice.
She said: “Earlier this month Tui announced its winter 2020 and summer 2021 holiday programme which has since expanded with more destinations and added flights.”
The additional capacity means Tui now has more than a quarter of a million extra seats on sale at the airport.
