Trump Hotel Collection is to open its first property in Latin America, the Trump Ocean Club International Hotel & Tower Panama, in spring 2011.
The hotel will be above Panama Bay, near Punta Pacifica and the International Banking Centre, making it suitable for leisure and business travellers.
The 70-storey building will have 369 rooms, making it one of the largest in Latin America.
Mark Stevenson, general manager of Trump Ocean Club, said: “This is exactly the luxury product that Panama and Central America needs right now, and the team is working diligently to ensure that the hotel exceeds everything that we have promised in design and experience.”
The hotel will also feature a spa, fitness centre with ocean views and a 13th-floor pool deck. The first two floors of the tower will house designer boutiques and shops.
