MSC cuts price on 1,500 cabins

MSC Cruises has cut the price of 1,500 cabins to £63 a night in a December promotion.

The lead-in sale rate of £63 a night for two people equates to 50% off brochure prices.

But the deal excludes ex-UK departures and bookings for MSC Yacht Club, the line’s higher grade ‘ship within a ship’ suites.

The 1,500 cabins are available on 2011 and 2012 departures on selected itineraries, from three to 24 nights in duration.

The £63 per night deal applies to an 18-night cruise to South Africa on MSC Melody.

A seven-night Western Mediterranean cruise on board MSC Fantasaia starts at £114 per cabin per night.

Rates for new Middle East sailings in winter 2011/12 start at £99 per cabin per night on MSC Lirica.

The promotion runs from Friday until the end of the month.
