Elite Travel Group general manager John Escott has left the consortium after just over a year in the post.
The consortium is restructuring its leadership team, and dissolving the role of general manager.
Chairman Wayne Darrock confirmed Escott’s departure. He said: “We are restructuring business and introducing more specific management roles to match the future business requirements.”
Escott joined Elite in September 2018 as general manager, following the departure of the group’s chief executive Neil Basnett earlier the same year.
Escott started his career at Horizon Holidays and held managerial roles in retail, tour operation, marketing and distribution, including Al Fresco, where he was responsible for trade relationships, before joining Elite.
