Intrepid Travel’s head of industry sales Andrew Turner is to join Flight Centre-owned destination management company Discova.
Turner, who has been at tour operator Intrepid for eight years in roles including business development manager and adventure sales specialist, will make the switch in March 2020.
He will lead a sales team located in major source markets such as the UK, US and Asia Pacific region from London.

“We are excited to have Andrew joining Discova,” said managing director Greg Kitchen. “With his strong background leading sales teams combined with an ethos rooted in responsible and sustainable tourism, he’ll be a great fit for our team.”
Turner has 13 years’ experience in the travel industry, with roles at Ideal Cruising and Tui before he joined Intrepid Travel.
He said: “I have learnt a lot about sustainability and responsible travel – and it’s something you will find me talking about quite a bit.”
Discova operates in 14 countries in Asia, Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean. It was among the destination management firms Flight Centre brought together in November last year to create a “powerhouse of in-destination experience businesses”.
