EasyJet’s December passenger traffic numbers rose 7.6% from a year earlier.
The budget airline carried 3,657,186 passengers last month, while its load factor rose by 0.4 percentage points from last year to 85.8%.
The number of passengers carried in the year ending December was up by 7.9% to 49.7 million.
The figures follow rival Ryanair disclosing that it flew five million passengers in December, a 2% rise on the same month in 2009.
The Irish low frills airline said it carried 72.7 million passengers in the 2010 calendar year.
