A former Wyndham Worldwide executive has been named in the newly created position of European development vice-president for Choice Hotels.
Oliver Dupont was senior vice president, international development, for Wyndham, where he led international development in Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Indian sub-continent.
In this new position, he will focus on building and strengthening business relationships and revenue opportunities with current and potential franchisees, hotel developers, and investors throughout Europe.
Dupont reports to Choice global development senior vice president David Pepper. “Olivier will be an excellent addition to our franchise sales leadership team and the Choice organisation,” said Pepper.
“He joins us with extensive franchise development experience, the ability to cultivate high-value long-term relationships with developers and owners, and a proven track record of successful brand growth. I am confident his addition will help spur the expansion of our European footprint.”
