Totally Travel Ltd, the parent company of 1st4cruising, has announced a change of ownership.
Principal shareholder Harry Goodman, together with new investors, has formed a holding company, TTH Limited, to acquire his shareholding together with the substantial shareholding in Totally Travel owned by Clive Jacobs and those of a small number of minority shareholders.
Jacobs resigned as a director of Totally Travel at the time of his acquisition of Travel Weekly parent company TWgroup in 2009, and has been looking to exit as a shareholder to avoid any conflict of interest with his ownership of the travel industry’s leading media business. “I do not think it is appropriate to have an interest in travel companies at the same time as owning the industry’s major magazine,“ he said.
Goodman added: “It is sad that Clive is exiting but I fully understand his position. Together, we formed Totally Travel five years ago to enter this very exciting sector of our industry, and it has been great to work together.”
