Travel Counsellors are reaping the benefits of using social media to attract new customers and communicate with existing ones. The annual survey of 744 home-based workers in the UK and overseas revealed that 90% are using social networking tools such as Facebook and Twitter and successfully driving sales through the networking sites.
The study also uncovered high levels of optimism, with 79% of respondents saying consumer confidence had improved on the beginning of 2010. The full results of survey will appear exclusively in this week’s Travel Weekly but TWbusiness:am readers can see the coverage beforehand by, clicking here.
