Broadway Travel has appointed Jill Gardner as group finance director as it plans to expand the business.
Gardner joins from Hays Travel, where she was commercial director for 12 years.
The Luton based agency operates Broadway Florida and Inspired Luxury Escape as well as Broadway Travel. It also entered into a three year contract recently to be the outsourcing partner of Teletext Holidays Direct.
Broadway plans to expand the Teletext retail stores within branches of Tesco Extra, with 10 more in the pipeline over the next two years.
Broadway Travel managing director Adam Pardini said: “With Jill’s vast experience and knowledge in the various markets in which we operate, she will be a tremendous asset to the group.”
Pardini added: “Broadway has been rapidly expanding its Newcastle call centre and homeworking divisions over the past two years and the business needed someone at the helm financially with the vast experience this complex business requires.
“Jill will also oversee some commercial aspects of the business and help develop the group into new areas with new opportunities and business models.”
