Hays Travel has cancelled its homeworker conference in Tenerife.
The event, which would have hosted 166 delegates, was due to take place on March 24-28 at the Hard Rock Hotel.
A spokeswoman for the group said: “After careful consideration and consultation with our homeworkers and personal travel consultants, we have come to the decision to cancel our annual homeworking conference which was due to take place later this month.
“The decision has been made so that our homeworking teams can focus solely on their customers and bookings during the constantly changing environment we find ourselves in.
“As developments regarding coronavirus are changing so frequently at the current time our homeworkers feel they need to be on hand to offer reassurance, support and guidance to their customers.”
