Norwich Madeira link with Monarch and Atlantic Holidays

Norwich Airport is to get a new service to Madeira operated by Monarch Airlines and Atlantic Holidays. The new service starts on May 9 and follows a series of flights operated to the Atlantic island last year.

Dino Toouli, sales and marketing manager at Atlantic Holidays, said: “We are delighted to have this opportunity to once again bring this beautiful destination to the doorstep of people in Norfolk.

“The new Norwich flight carries no additional supplement for regional flying making prices identical to those from larger airports such as Gatwick.

“This new flight is a perfect opportunity for local holidaymakers to grab some spring sunshine and receive truly great value for money.”

Holidays lead in at £399 for bed and breakfast at the three star Estrelicia Hotel and £599 for half-board at the five star Pestana Casino Park Hotel.

Andrew Bell, Norwich Airport’s chief executive, said: “Madeira, as last year’s full flights proved, is a destination that is highly sought after by holidaymakers in East Anglia and we are delighted that Atlantic Holidays has taken the opportunity to meet this demand.”
