BAH sees popularity of North American flydrives increase

FLYDRIVES took four of the top five places in British Airways Holidays’ most popular North American arrangements for this summer.

The best sellers were those based on Boston, Los Angeles and San Francisco, followed by the operator’s Western Discovery US escorted coach tour. In fifth place were flydrives to Phoenix, using British Airways non-stop service from Gatwick.

Top add-ons were Niagara Falls from New York, air tours of the Grand Canyon, whale-watching off Cape Cod in Massachusetts, New York theatre tickets and Hawaii extensions from San Francisco.

New features of BAH’s America and Canada 2000 programme include a pre-planned 15-day self-drive tour of Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee, from £839, as well as go-as-you-please nightly stays from £27 per person in New Orleans, Memphis, Nashville and Chattanooga.
