Tui signs contract with Anite for @comRes system

Tui Travel has signed a contract with Anite which will see it implement the technology company’s @comRes booking system in its mainstream business in the UK and Ireland. The deal is seen as a step forward in a shift away from old legacy booking systems.

“Having successfully implemented @comRes in the German mainstream business, the signing of this contract represents a further step for the group in moving away from its reliance on legacy systems to seamless integrated reservation platforms,” Tui Travel said today.

Anite said its had signed a multi-year contract with Tui Travel to implement @comRes.

“The contract also allows Tui the opportunity to potentially extend the associated licence to other businesses in their organisation in the future and follows the successful implementation of the same system in Tui’s German operation in the last few years,” the company said.

It claimed that @comRes “is the only proven, large scale reservations system for leisure travel operators on the market today”. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
