More places are being made available for agents to attend the debut ACE River Cruise Expo in Amsterdam due to “overwhelming demand”.
At least 100 agents have signed up to attend the event on November 20-21 which will include visits to vessels operated by AMA Waterways, APT, Titan HiTours Elegant River Cruises and Shearings.
Agents will overnight onboard on Sunday and will be provided with specialist river cruise and destination training together with a boat trip of Amsterdam’s canals.
ACE director Flo Powell said: “The latest figures show great consumer interest in river cruising and we have designed this event to help agents become more knowledgeable in all aspects of river cruising enabling them to sell more holidays.
“We have also recently launched online product training courses from APT, Avalon Waterways and Shearings with more on the way.
“We’ve reached our target of 100 agents but I’m pleased to say that thanks to the support of our river cruise members, we can now accommodate even more.”
