Maritim Hotels will open three luxury hotels in China in the next 12 months.
The group already has one hotel in the Sanshan district called Maritim Hotel Wuhu.
The first of the new additions will be in a 631-room property in Shenyang in North East China opening in June.
The hotel will have German and Chinese speciality restaurants and all-day dining restaurant.
The second property, Maritim Hotel Hui Zun, in Anting, Shanghai, has three floors graded as ‘Executive’ offering private VIP check-in and round the clock service.
Scheduled to open in winter 2011/2012, the 288 bedroom hotel will incorporate numerous conference facilities and opulent accommodation housed within two towers.
The third will open in Changzhou in spring 2012.
Director of international sales, Mark Spivey, comments: “It is positive news that within a year of opening our first hotel in China, we are able to announce the opening of three additional luxury hotels in the country.
“The design features of these properties, including the two towers at the Maritim Hotel Hui Zun and grand ballroom of Maritim Hotel Shenyang, really set them apart, as does the magnificent location of both hotels.”
In addition to 37 hotels in Germany, the company has 14 hotels around the world in locations such as Mauritius, China, Egypt, Spain, Turkey, Latvia and Malta.
