Travel PR and marketing specialist Lotus has announced a management restructure with current managing director Jules Ugo (pictured) taking on the position of chief executive.
As part of the restructure, chief executive Sarah Johnson will become founder, while deputy managing director Kate McWilliams becomes managing director Latam, with responsibility for developing the company’s Latin American and Spanish-speaking division.
The restructure comes 18 months after the sale of a majority stake to Warren Johnson’s W Communications, and also includes the creation of four key divisions: Hotels, Brand, Corporate and Destinations.
Ugo said: “The travel industry faces challenging times ahead and needs consultancies that can offer commercially-driven, data-directed strategies. The next-phase growth of Lotus will see us continuing to work closely with W and focusing our efforts on new business whilst maintaining the high-level of client service we are renowned for.”
