Leisure sales targeted by Grosvenor


FORTE’S flagship Grosvenor House property on Park Lane in London is to launch a new range of breaks this autumn to boost its leisure sales.



The hotel currently has a 50/50 leisure and business split but is looking to fill rooms at the weekends.



Breaks include the Night Owls and Early Birds theatre break, including tickets, champagne and canapes and a late-night supper at £209 per person per night; the Chef for a Day cookery course with hotel chef Ralph Porciani at £280 per person per night; and Enchanted Moments romantic break with champagne, chocolates, flowers, a gourmet candle-lit dinner and a health club afternoon priced at £380 per couple per night.



Making Business a Pleasure combines the hotel’s business floor, Crown Club, with a weekend break priced at £399 per couple per night.



Extravaganza 2000, available throughout the millennium year, includes a a Park View Suite, equipped with private maid, butler and unlimited bar service, caviar and champagne, a chauffeur driven limousine, dinner prepared by master chef Nico Ladenis and a private launch for a cruise on the Thames. This break is priced at £2,000 per person per night.



Breaks will be available from early October and will be sold through the trade.
