Tours with limited numbers of holidaymakers are being introduced by Riviera Travel for 2021.
The small groups and private tours will run in addition to the operator’s classic group trips.
Small group options of no more than 25 people are available across a range of European tours. Coaches will be no more than half full, giving people more personal space. Small groups can also be booked as a private group for friends, family or clubs as well as individuals.
Ten itineraries are available as private tours by private car with a personal guide in 2021 – India & Shimla; Rajasthan; Sri Lanka; Vietnam & Cambodia; Malaysia & Borneo; Cost Rica; Ecuador & Galapagos; Georgia; Imperial Cities of Morocco; and Jordan.
The small group option for a four-day Bruges and Paris tour starts at £389 per person – just £40 more than the standard tour.
Private tours lead in at £1,529pp for an eight-day Imperial Cities of Morocco holiday – £460 more than the standard tour.
The new options ave been developed in response to consumer demand and the company listening to customers “to anticipate their future travel needs”.
Agents who make a new booking on the new tours by the end of October will be entered into a draw to win a place for themselves and a partner.
Riviera channel director Stuart Milan said: “These new programmes are a fantastic way for our trade partners to reignite enthusiasm for travel amongst their customers, giving them the opportunity to discover the amazing Riviera travel experience but in a more exclusive style.”
