More than 250 delegates, including 150 travel agents have signed up to attend the first ACE River Cruise Expo in Amsterdam.
Final preparations are being made for the event taking place on Sunday and Monday where agents will be given practical advice and guidance on selling river cruise holidays.
Agents will have the chance to visit up to five river vessels operated by AmAWaterways, APT, Titan Travel, Shearings and The River Cruise Line.
Delegates will stay overnight onboard on Sunday and gain specialist river cruise and destination training. There will also be networking opportunities, a boat trip along Amsterdam’s canals and a visit to a diamond factory.
ACE director Andy Harmer said: “The response we’ve received for our first ACE River Cruise Expo has been overwhelming and the interest shown by agents has exceeded our expectations.
“This is the first time so many agents have gathered in one location to hear the very latest news from the river cruise industry and for many, it will be the first time they’ve set foot on a river ship.”
