Marketing and business support agency 3For has teamed up with an NHS supplier to offer a hand sanitiser system exclusively to the trade.
3For has secured an exclusive contract with Essential Healthcare Solutions, which supplies NHS trusts, to supply the ‘hands off’ sanitiser units to the travel, leisure and hospitality sector to encourage more customers to clean their hands as they enter premises, such as travel agencies, during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
The free-standing eShield 180 units, which use sensors and do not require clients to touch to sanitise their hands, can be personalised with the agency logo and used by agents to advertise and market holidays and services via an attached screen.
The systems, which cost from £4 a day, also check temperatures and provide ‘fever alerts’. According to the manufacturers the system provides protection from germs for eight hours.
It is the first time 3For, which specialises in sales and marketing for travel agencies, has offered a hygiene related product.
Managing director Trevor Davis admitted the move was a “new direction” for the agency, but said it was critical travel businesses restored consumer confidence in the current climate.
He said: “In the current and challenging marketplace, businesses will have to adapt to the increasing demands placed on everyone regarding improved personal hygiene and hand sanitisation. We want to help make travel and tourism as safe as we can for everyone.”
