Luton Airport warns of delays next week

Inbound passengers face delays when arriving at Luton airport next week due to a walkout by border control staff.

The airport warned that passengers “may experience delays” at passport control between 10pm next Tuesday until midnight the following day.

Members of the Public & Commercial Services and ISU Unions are joining industrial action by public service staff in protest over pensions.

“Impacts on departing flights are expected to be kept to a minimum,” a statement said. “Additional airport staff will be on hand for passenger comfort and welfare.”
