A group of 20 travel industry professionals will take on the second Trek for Good in aid of Abta LifeLine ahead of next year’s postponed Travel Convention in Marrakech.
The event, which is supported by G Adventures and Kuoni, will see the group climb Morocco’s Mount Toubkal to raise funds for local communities and agents in the UK and overseas.
The first Trek for Good took place in 2019, with a group scaling Mount Kilimanjaro.
As with the first event, participants will be required to pay for their costs, with the trek being offered at cost by G Adventures, and will be expected to raise a minimum of £750 each for the cause.
The five-day trip is due to take place in September 2021, with the Travel Convention taking place the following month.
Abta LifeLine offers a range of support services for individuals in need within the travel industry. The charity is currently raising funds in association with Travel Weekly through the TravelCares appeal.
