Silversea boosts all-inclusive proposition for 2022-23

Silversea Cruises is enhancing its all-inclusive proposition by including air connections and shore excursions with the upcoming launch of new 2022-23 itineraries.

A range of experiences will be available in each port of call across the line’s fleet of 10 ultra-luxury ships.

All cruise fares will include return air travel and transfers, “providing unprecedented value and convenience” for passengers.

Business class upgrades are also included in selected destinations and sailings, such as world cruises and extended grand voyages.

Special savings in the form of ‘non-use air credit’ will be offered to travellers making their own travel arrangements or to those travelling from excluded regions.

Passengers may also have one or two hotel nights or the use of a day room included in the cruise fare depending on Silversea’s air programme flight schedule.

The programme from March 2022 until May 2023 includes 315 cruises across all seven continents, calling in 669 destinations in 114 countries, with 61 maiden calls.

Almost 12% more itineraries will be available compared to the previous launch in the line’s largest-ever itinerary release.

Travellers will be able to reserve shore excursions from 180 days before departure. Member of the line’s Venetian Society will have an additional 30 days to make their selection.

UK, Ireland, Middle East and Africa managing director Peter Shanks said: “Launching 315 new cruises through to May 2023 is great news for our travel agent partners.

“Now even more all-inclusive makes Silversea an easy sell and the addition of shorex is a welcome boost to commission earnings.”

President and chief executive Roberto Martinoli said: “We are enhancing our already comprehensive all-inclusive offering for the convenience of our guests, while leveraging on our destination leadership to take travellers deeper into over 900 of the world’s most amazing destinations on included shore excursions.

“Our expansive new collection of itineraries for 2022 and 2023, which will be the largest itinerary launch in Silversea’s history, features inspired voyages that have been carefully curated by our destination experts.

“With the inclusion of round-trip air and transfers, we are further enriching our all-inclusive offering, which is among the most broad-ranging in the ultra-luxury cruise sector.”
