Travel Weekly is to publish its ninth annual Insight Report on December 14, in partnership with Deloitte and featuring exclusive consumer research from Service Science.
The 2020-21 Travel Weekly Insight Annual Report is authored by Travel Weekly executive editor Ian Taylor and is designed to assist business leaders with unrivalled analysis of the global travel industry and economic trends affecting the sector.
Registered guests who attend a virtual launch event on Thursday, December 10 will receive exclusive early access to the report in digital format, and will hear from a range of experts from the travel industry, Deloitte and associated fields who will discuss the findings in a series of discussions and presentations.
Both the report and the event are available and open to all readers for free as Travel Weekly continues to support the sector and offers practical tools to assist the recovery process for travel business in the year ahead.
As in the previous eight editions, the 2020-21 Travel Weekly Insight Annual Report will focus on UK and global trends and individual sectors in addition to the future outlook and shape of the travel industry.
Lucy Huxley, editor-in-chief of Travel Weekly Group, said: “For the past nine years the Travel Weekly Insight Annual Report has offered an essential and in-depth barometer of the UK and global travel industry based on exclusive research and analysis of current and future consumer and economic trends.
“We are delighted to work in partnership with Deloitte once again on the report, which is particularly crucial this year against a backdrop of ongoing uncertainty and challenges for the industry.”
Alistair Pritchard, lead partner travel and aviation at Deloitte, added: “As the travel sector embarks on its path to recovery, we felt it essential to continue to collaborate with Travel Weekly to produce this year’s Insight Report.
“This year the report will be structured around three ‘chapters’ focusing on the outlook for the industry, the future of travel and reimagining resilience. There will be in-depth analysis of each sub-sector as well as coverage of a range of topics that we hope will help businesses across the sector to thrive in the future.
“I’m delighted to be working with the Travel Weekly team to bring what we hope will be valuable insight to leaders across the sector.”
