Hong Kong Airlines has taken delivery of its first all business class Airbus A330-200 ahead of the launch of flights from Gatwick.
Three new A330-200s will operate on the route to Hong Kong from March 8.
The aircraft will feature two premium cabins – ‘Club Premier’ and ‘Club Classic’ – including Wi-Fi coverage, bars and state of the art entertainment systems. A limousine service will also be offered to passengers.
The airline has also received the first of 30 A320s which will operate on routes in Asia from its Hong Kong hub.
President Yang Jian Hong said: “With the delivery of our new all Club Class A330-200 and first of 30 A320s, Hong Kong Airlines will consolidate further its position as a premier full-service carrier.
“The onboard features will ensure that we are able to offer the best possible in-flight experience, embracing the latest in passenger comfort and technology while benefiting from the economic efficiency offered by these modern aircraft types.”
