Silversea Cruises has released its 2022-23 programme, with shore excursions and roundtrip air fares included for the first time.
The programme, which runs from March 2022 to May 2023, features 315 itineraries and 669 destinations in 114 countries and is the line’s largest collection of voyages to be released.
The itineraries, which go on general sale on December 10, feature 61 maiden ports of call including Eidfjord, Norway; Rio Guajara, Brazil; and Foula in the United Kingdom. The cruises went on sale to Venetian Society members from Tuesday.
The brand will offer 30 voyages in Antarctica, its most “extensive programme to date”, with five, six or nine-day options available. Silversea will sail 12 Arctic and Greenland cruises, with 61 Mediterranean voyages featured in the programme and 28 sailings in Northern Europe and the British Isles.
The luxury line is increasing capacity in Alaska, with 29 voyages, and has enhanced its expedition programme in the Kimberley region of Australia for the 2022-23 season.
The collection also sees the return of expedition sailings in the Indian Ocean, as well as an extended call in Doha for the Fifa World Cup.
Roberto Martinoli, Silversea’s president and chief executive, said: “With shore excursions and roundtrip air included in the cruise fare for all 10 ships in our fleet—a first for our cruise line—our guests will discover the most remarkable experiences around the world with unprecedented convenience, travelling deep into captivating cultures, untouched landscapes, and open-hearted communities.
“Once again, we are pushing boundaries in ultra-luxury cruising for the enjoyment of our guests, who are more curious than ever and are always in search of their next adventure.”
Silversea will also offer five Grand Voyages in 2022-23, including a Northern European Grand Voyage from Lisbon to Stockholm which the brand describes as a “world-first”.
