Avis international sales and marketing senior vice president Kaye Ceille has been named as managing director of Avis Budget UK.
She starts in the role on March 1.
Ceille joined Budget Rent a Car in 1997 and became travel industry relations vice president of Avis Budget in 2003.
She was responsible for integrating two sales teams into one to help implement the dual brand strategy for Avis Budget Group.
As senior vice president of international sales and marketing, Ceille led an international inbound strategic initiative, which helped the company achieve record revenue from cross-border travellers last year.
She holds a number of roles with the US Travel Association, including serving on the executive board, finance committee and the strategic planning committee.
