Sister brands Cunard Line and P&O Cruises are running their first major marketing activity this weekend in the wake of the Costa Concordia disaster.
The Carnival UK companies will be running a promotion offering balcony cabins for the price of inside accommodation on selected departures this summer.
The four-day offer on February 10-13 covers 38 cruises – 22 with P&O Cruises and 16 with Cunard.
The deal applies to new bookings for Cunard’s three ships and on Aurora, Azura, Oceana and Ventura in the P&O Cruises fleet.
Upgrades are available on selected departures sailing from Southampton between April and September, with claimed savings of up to £967 per person on Cunard for a 14-night Norwegian fjords cruise departing on August 3.
Savings with P&O Cruises are up to £1,267pp for a 14 night Norway, Greenland and Iceland cruise departing on June 19.
Balcony cabin rates lead in £399pp for a three-night Queen Victoria sailing on May 5 and £349pp on a three-night Ventura cruise on July 20.
