Specialist business travel agency Holborn Travel and its Chancery Cruising arm have been sold to Baxter Hoare Travel.
The acquisition by the London-based agency follows last year’s purchase of Pressplan Travel, with other deals promised.
Holborn Travel staff, including former owner Michael Driscoll, will move to Baxter Hoare’s headquarters at London Bridge.
Baxter Hoare Travel managing director Adam White said: “We have an aggressive expansion plan for Baxter Hoare which includes acquisitions, such as Holborn Travel and Pressplan but also organic growth through new business wins.
“We have plans for further targeted company acquisitions in the near future.”
He added: “Bringing Holborn Travel into Baxter Hoare is good news for both our combined customers and staff as not only will it enable us to offer a wider range of products and services but it will give our staff greater career development opportunities to grow as the business continues to expand rapidly.
“This is a great fit, we are delighted to welcome the Holborn Travel team whose experience compliments the deep knowledge of the Baxter Hoare staff which when combined will enable us to develop our business and personal travel businesses to new highs.”
Holborn Travel was established 34 years ago and specialises in travel for the legal profession.
