Spanish hotel group Fiesta rebrands to Palladium

Spain’s sixth largest hotel group Fiesta has been rebranded as Palladium Hotel Group.

The name change comes as the company enters its fifth decade of operations.

Palladium Hotel Group replaces Fiesta as the umbrella brand for eight existing brands covering 48 hotels.

The Palladium Hotels & Resorts brand was first launched by Fiesta in 2002 with the opening of two eco-resorts in Riviera-Maya, Mexico.

The Palladium brand has grown into a collection of 15 properties in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Brazil and Spain.

The name has now been adopted by the company which operates in six countries and plans two new openings in 2013.

Group commercial director Juan José Calvo said: “The rebrand to Palladium Hotel Group is the next logical step as Palladium Hotels & Resorts continue to gain exposure and loyalty in the international arena.

“As we continue to develop our global proposition, it is vital that we play on our strengths and Palladium offers an important set of standards such as high quality, service and added-value that we feel are fundamental to the success of the organisation.

“This rebrand also helps with the positioning of our urban chain, Ayre, which has grown significantly over the last six years.”
