A couple would like 10 days in Malaysia next spring, dividing their time between sightseeing in Kuala Lumpur and relaxing in a beach resort. They love to try local cuisine, and want tips on what to do in the capital. Budget: £3,500.

This agency definitely offers service with a smile, as a warm, friendly assistant welcomed me into the store and offered to help.
She knew a bit about Malaysia but was obviously willing to research it further and spoke at length with a consultant from Hayes & Jarvis to put together the right package.
I received a detailed quotation for three nights at the Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur followed by a week at the Westin Langkawi Resort, all B&B with Malaysia Airlines flights departing March 10, for £3,890, including internal flights and transfers.
She mentioned adding insurance without being pushy, although it might have been helpful to get an idea of possible excursions.
Nonetheless, the assistant’s friendly, upbeat manner made the whole experience an absolute pleasure and would definitely make me return to this agency when I book my next break.
