Travelodge is joining forced with a gym company to locate sites in a £70 million property deal.
The budget chain is reported to have signed a deal to pair up with low cost fitness chain Gym Group to find 10 locations in London and the south east over the next five years.
Travelodge is also seeking to secure sites for an extra 50 hotels, adding 5,030 rooms by 2020, according to the Mail on Sunday.
Gym Group pans to open 14 new clubs next year, bringing its total to 46.
The two are looking either for conversion or development opportunities and have already tested the concept in the capital, Plymouth and Guildford.
