Scottish agency Barrhead Travel has been rated as the 54th fastest growing private company in the UK.
The firm, founded in 1975 by Bill Munro and run by his daughter Sharon, saw sales growth of almost 70% last year to £42 million, according to the Sunday Times Fast Track 100.
Spabreaks.com appears in second place in the listing with an annual rise in sales of 198% in 2011 to £6.8 million.
The London-based company was founded by managing director Abi Wright in 2008 with Ross Marshal and Andrew Harding, founders of Your Golf Travel, which is in 59th position in the listing.
Spabreaks sends 2,000 people to spa destinations each week, charging the venues a commission on bookings.
You Golf Travel saw sales rise by almost 68% to £35 million in the year to December 2011. The company books holidays to 3,500 golf courses in 22 countries and handles more than 200,000 customers a year. A corporate events division has recently been opened.
Long haul operator Tropical Sky is in 88th position with annual sales growth of 53% to £31 million while holiday park operator Away Resorts, which has three sites, come in 81st place with sales growth of 57% to £15 million.
