A LA CARTE hotel-based holidays and a private villas section are two new features of the second-edition Thomson Florida brochure, running from November to October 2000.
Hotels featured include the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort at Lake Buena Vista, near Walt Disney World Resort, and the Don Cesar Beach Hotel resort and Spa at St Pete Beach on the Gulf Coast. Two-week prices start at £875 and £795 respectively, including flights, and a week’s twin-centre at each property costs from £965.
Thomson’s villa offerings have been brought together in an expanded range, covering Kissimmee in Orlando and Sarasota and Marco Island on the Gulf Coast.
The Indian Ridge Oaks Villas complex in Kissimmee is also a new addition, offering three and four-bedroom villas for between six and 10 people.
Prices start at £480 per person for a fortnight in November, including flights.
Other new properties are the Best Western Seastone Resort in Clearwater and the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites Beach Front Resort at St Pete Beach, as well as the five-star Portfino Bay Hotel at Universal Studios Escape theme park.
Flight-inclusive prices for the latter property start at £1,165 for 14 nights for each of four adults sharing a room. Twinshare rates are from £1,907.
