BRITANNIC Travel has outsourced the management of its computer network in a £500,000 deal.
The business travel agency has installed Milgo Solutions’ client server network, called Intelligence, in its 39 UKoffices.
The network allows Britannic staff to send and receive client information, send e-mails and access the Internet. Previously, information was sent through a network supplied by global distribution system supplier Galileo UK but Britannic claims the new system is more powerful, enabling information to be sent quicker.
Milgo will be responsible for managing the network over the three-year term of the contract.
