Thomas Cook has confirmed its next concept stores will be in Bristol Broadmead and Teesside Park in Stockton-on-Tees.
The stores will be the latest “stores of the future”, following Leeds White Rose Shopping Centre which opened last year and the Edinburgh Hanover Street store due to open this month.
Details of the opening dates for the stores have not been revealed, but Thomas Cook said they hoped to have them open this summer, with further concept store locations in the pipeline.
With videos streamed on wall-mounted LCD screens, self-help advice bars and the option of booking using an in-store tablet, the concept stores aim to offer a hi-tech approach to booking holidays.
Retail director Joanna Wild said agents in the chosen branches were excited by the planned transformations.
She said: “We’re thrilled to announce where we’re investing in our latest concept stores and our plans are moving along quickly to get the stores open this summer.
“Our agents in Bristol and Stockton-on-Tees are really excited about their new stores and we have every intention of keeping up the pace to add more stores to the list before the end of this year.”
