A global travel community for travel bloggers has entered into a partnership with international water charity Just a Drop.
Travel Bloggers Unite is aiming to raise more than £5,000 for the charity through events and other activity during the first year of the relationship.
This will start with Just a Drop’s involvement in TBU’s conference in Jerusalem on October 21-22.
Just a Drop founder and chairman Fiona Jeffery OBE said: “We are absolutely delighted that TBU have chosen to work in partnership with Just a Drop.
“This is an important strategic partnership for the charity as we feel the travel blogger community could have a considerable impact on our work, both in terms of fundraising and in growing our profile through sharing stories and successes from the field.
“As just £1 can help bring clean water to a child for up to ten years, the relationship will have a significant bearing on the number of people we can help over the coming years.”
Travel Bloggers Unite managing director Oliver Gradwell added: “TBU is delighted to be partnering with Just a Drop and to be supporting such a worthy cause.
“The travel blogging community will be able to raise the profile of Just a Drop significantly and we look forward to beating our annual fundraising target of over £5,000.”
