Luggage delivery service offers 10% commission to agents

Luggage delivery service Sendmybag is now offering commission for agents who sell their service.

The new commission programme, Sendmybag Trade, will reward agents on their first order and any subsequent orders made.

After purchasing flights and accommodation agents will be able to add sending luggage to holiday packages. In return, agents will receive 10% commission, meaning they can earn up to £6 on a return 30kg suitcase to Spain. Consumers will also get a 5% discount on their order.

Adam Ewart, founder of Sendmybag, said: “In today’s climate where we are plagued by excessive fees and lost luggage, consumers and travel businesses have become much more open to the idea of couriering baggage to their holiday destination, however for many this is a completely new concept to them.

“That’s why we launch our travel trade affiliate programme with the ‘no questions, just commission’ strapline meaning any customer enquiries are handled by us seven days a week via our customer service team, no matter whether they’re home or abroad.”

The company said sales were up 400% on the same period from last year and they have achieved a milestone of 1,000 deliveries in one day.

Ewart said he believed the add-on would provide a lucrative revenue stream for trade businesses looking for a baggage partner.
