Celebrity offers agents chance to win a trip with Ben Fogle

Eight agents are being offered the chance to win a sailing to a private island with explorer Ben Fogle in a turn-of-year incentive by Celebrity Cruises.

Fogle wants to hear what travel experiences inspire agents and in return will share his destination expertise with the winning agents.

To enter, agents need to go the Celebrity Travel Agents Facebook page and reveal the item on the top of their travel bucket list before February 24 and also check the page for a specially-filmed video to find out more about the prize.

The eight agents whose ‘must-do’ experiences inspire Fogle will win a place on the exclusive excursion which will take place on March 26-27.

They will have a day of sailing a clipper yacht with Fogle – who rowed across the Atlantic with Olympian, James Cracknell – and spend the night on the private island of Spitbank Fort, off Portsmouth, enjoying Celebrity Cruises’ treats.

The line’s UK managing director Jo Rzymowska said: “As we look towards a very exciting new year for Celebrity Cruises, we are offering a very big thank you to our travel agent partners with this once-in-a-lifetime competition prize.

“We’re excited to have Ben Fogle as our destination expert, and we wanted to give agents a little taster of what it’s like to have a day planned by Ben.

“With a raft of strong consumer offers and agent incentives in this turn of year period, agents can really drive bookings and look forward to getting under the skin of Celebrity Cruises like never before.”

The chance to win a place on ‘Ben’s Exclusive Excursion’ is in addition to the current turn of year trade incentive offering agents the chance to win one of two prizes each week until February 28.

The prize packs include a case of wine, Elemis pamper packs and shopping vouchers – to support the Celebrity Cruises new turn of year 123Go! campaign which offers passengers benefits with their holiday booking.

Agents need to make a new booking on selected 2014 cruises to be in with a chance of winning one of the packs.

To support agency sales, any 2014 European sailing booked by February 28 includes any two of the following:

  • Complimentary classic beverage package, worth up to $1,400
  • Up to $300 on board spend
  • Free gratuities
