Holiday Extras has expanded the distribution of its travel insurance through a deal with Carnival UK.
The parent company of P&O Cruises, Cunard, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line and Seabourn in the UK will be offering cruise insurance cover through Holiday Extras.
Head of insurance Andrea Clayton said: “One of our key strategic aims for 2013 was to widen the distribution of our bespoke cruise insurance product range.
“We are therefore delighted to be working with Carnival UK, the market leader in their field, to offer our range of travel insurance products for their customers.
“Holiday Extras cruise insurance is underwritten by Allianz Global Assistance and includes cover for missed cruise departure, cabin confinement, unused excursions, missed port and itinerary changes to meet the demands of cruise travellers.”
Carnival UK sales and distribution support director for P&O Cruises and Cunard Christ Truscott said: “Holiday Extras are well known for exceptional customer service and support the same brand values as Carnival UK, therefore we see this as a natural partnership opportunity.”
