Clia UK and Ireland is set to host its first UK based river cruise expo on April 29.
The association already holds an annual river cruise convention, but now it is looking to help agents up their river cruise bookings by giving them a greater insight into the sector.
The River Cruise Expo will be held in London onboard MV London on the River Thames, with Travel Weekly as the media partner.
Agents will be able to meet with representatives from the following river cruise lines: Amadeus by Luftner Cruises; AMAWaterways; APT Luxury River Cruises; A-Rosa; Avalon Waterways; Cruise & Maritime Voyages; Riviera Travel; The River Cruise Line; Titan/Uniworld; Shearings, CroisiEurope and American Queen Steamboat Company.
The event will allow agents to learn about the various river-based products available and network with the relevant lines.

“This UK event – the first of its kind – brings together all Clia member river cruise operators and travel agents so that delegates get a complete understanding of the breadth of river cruise products available and the opportunities that this brings.
“The River Cruise Expo in London includes time for learning about all of the products available, a networking lunch, a great venue that will bring the concept of river cruising to life and time for one-to-one meetings with important presentations on the river cruise industry”.
