Comedian and presenter of TV’s Pointless quiz show Alexander Armstrong is joining the Just a Drop charity as a patron.

He has become involved following an interview with Just a Drop’s honorary president Colonel John Blashford Snell last month.

Armstrong said: “I am proud to be joining the Just a Drop family. This is a small organisation that achieves a colossal amount all over the world. By providing communities with clean water supplies they are making a world of difference to thousands and thousands of lives.”

Charity founder Fiona Jeffery said: “Since Just a Drop was formed, we have reached over one million people in over 30 countries around the world and we are delighted to have Alexander’s support in continuing this vital work.

“We’re all looking forward to working with him and know that his enthusiasm for our cause will inspire others to also get involved and make a real difference.”
