Royal Caribbean International is including a Big Ben bungee and Stonehenge-themed kids play area on recently revamped Explorer of the Seas, ready for its first sailing from Southampton next year.
The US line plans to celebrate all things quintessentially British in acknowledgment of the record breaking numbers of British holidaymakers booked to cruise in 2015.
Feefo marks Just a Drop support with naked cycle challenge
Authenticated online review service Feefo has announced industry charity Just a Drop as its chosen charity for this year and a naked cycle ride to kick off its fundraising activity.
Two bosses, managing director Andrew Mabbutt and sales director Matt Eames, have agreed to strip for a tandem cycle challenge starting at Feefo’s base in Petersfield and ending in Portsmouth.
Club 18-30 to launch InstaGoggles app
Club 18-30 is set to launch InstaGogglesTM – a groundbreaking app which allows users to modify pictures and video taken on nights out in Club 18-30 resorts like never before.

Eurostar seats to come with a sea view
In a world first, Eurostar passengers travelling beneath the English Channel will from today (1st April) be offered a breath taking view of the Channel’s unique marine ecosystem for the very first time.
New ground-breaking lighting technology fitted to Eurostar’s entire fleet of trains will be switched on today and will reveal to travellers the never before seen marine life of the English Channel.
STA Travel launches P.A.T: Post Adventure Therapy
STA Travel, the world’s largest student and youth travel company, has launched a new service for its customers, Post Adventure Therapy, in a bid to quash the post-trip blues.
UK marketing director Laurence Bresh said: “We are in the privileged position of helping hundreds of thousands of young people fulfil their travelling dreams every year, however when it comes to helping them adjust back to ‘reality’ when they’re back from their round-the-world trip, we felt that there is more we could do.
MyFerryLink announces rebrand
Dover-Calais ferry operator, MyFerryLink, has today announced that it is rebranding to MyFerretLink as part of its long term strategy to attract a cuddlier clientele.
The rebranding will extend to all parts of the MyFerretLink business, from the logo and website myferretlink.com to the MyFerretLink superferries and check-in desks, where the staff will now be obliged to dress in ferret uniform – complete with face paint.
Long-extinct marine mammal spotted in Gulf near St. Pete/Clearwater
A rare marine mammal is reported to have been sighted off the coast of St. Pete/Clearwater in Florida – a combination dolphin/manatee known as a “manaphin” that scientists had thought to be long-extinct.
Although not widely known in North America, the manaphin (sometimes spelled “manafin”) has a long history in Central and South America, where it is known as delfin de la suerte.
TrekAmerica launches UK’s first ever space tour
TrekAmerica has announced the UK’s first ever space tour.
The tour starts in Houston and travels into space with Virgin Galactic, includes 11 nights in luxury hotel accommodation, entry to the Johnson Space Centre and the chance to explore the secretive bounds of Area 51.
