MEMBERS of the Hoteliers Forum have committed to a new strategy for making life easier for disabled people at their annual symposium.
Members, which include hotel chains like Forte, Thistle, Consort, Hilton and Bass as well as consortia and trade associations, agreed at the meeting in Heathrow they are making good progress towards complying with the Disability Discrimination Act but there was still a long way to go.
Chairman of the Hoteliers Forum Peter Holland said it would be rewarding to take the initial lead in prioritising accessibility as an issue.
