Breaks by rail from London to the new Center Parcs village in Bedfordshire are to be offered as part of a new partnership.
The UK resort operator has joined up with train operator First Capital Connect to provide 10% discounts on the 50-minute rail journey.
Center Parcs will provide a shuttle service to collect holidaymakers arriving at Flitwick Station from London St Pancras, and take them to the resort in Woburn Forest in around 10 minutes.
There will also be a meet and greet service at St Pancras, discounted drinks and snacks at the station’s Camden Food shop, ‘fast track’ entry to Woburn Forest and a luggage delivery and collection service.
Center Parcs has also employed a full time transport co-ordinator to manage transportation links in the area.
Sale and marketing director Colin Whaley said: “Protection of the environment is an intrinsic part of who we are and being able to provide really good public transport links to people in the local area and London will help us keep vehicle use down.
“We also hope that by linking with First Capital Connect, many guests from London will opt to use the train service from London St Pancras to get to Woburn Forest.”
The rail firm’s customer service director Keith Jipps added: “Electric trains are the greenest form of public transport and we’re delighted to have formed this partnership with Center Parcs to promote our service to guests.
“With four trains an hour from London St Pancras and a speedy 50-minute journey to Flitwick, it’s the perfect way to start a holiday.”
