Five routes are being added to Flybe’s winter schedule, including two new services.
The regional carrier is to open a link between Birmingham and Berlin Tegel airport and from East Midlands to Aberdeen.
A daily service between Exeter and Newcastle is being re-established from October 26, together with winter ski routes to Geneva from Cardiff and Inverness from December 20.
Flybe’s winter programme features 105 routes offering up to 2,809 flights a week.
The airline’s chief commercial officer Paul Simmons said: “Our commitment to connectivity, both for business and leisure passengers across the UK regions and Europe, continues.
“Today’s announcement of two more brand new routes and the return of three more clearly demonstrates our ambitions and hunger to deliver a network that meets the needs of our customers.”
He added: “We are particularly excited to be offering Berlin as a brand new destination and to be flying direct from Birmingham to Berlin Tegel, the German capital’s most convenient airport that’s only eight kilometres from the heart of the city’s downtown business district.
